Possible, I have a full HD 24' VGA TFT monitor connected on a DVI port using a DVI to VGA adapter.

Most (retail) graphic cards with a DVI port and no VGA port come with a DVI>VGA adapter.

The GTX 275 is a 200+ dollar card; the HD4670 is a 70 dollar card.

The huge amount of memory with the 4670 is completely useless with as slow of a memory bandwidth as it has. Even 512MB would go unused.
In the $75 range, it would seem that this would be about the fastest card you could find.

Yeah, it should be able to play Crysis. But you'll be bottlenecked by your slow P4. I'd recommend an entire system upgrade (although I'm assuming you're short on the money) rather than just upgrading a single component. Crysis will probably tear through your 1.5GB of RAM on larger maps, and the AI and physics will slow your system down on the CPU side.
With a good system, the HD4670 should do about medium at a good frame rate.

There's so much bullshit in this thread. The bottom line is, in order to use a DVI-VGA adapter, the card must have a DVI-I connector. Every consumer card with a DVI connection is DVI-I, an adapter will work fine.
