If God is unwilling to prevent evil, then God is not good. If God is unable to prevent evil, then God is not omnipotent. God exists only if God is both good and omnipotent. If God is willing and able to prevent evil, then evil does not exist. Therefore if evil exists, then God does not exist.

Not always, once we're born we don't have much of a choice in anything except for your own actions. If your parent beats you as you grow up, how are you going to prevent that?
