| I just did it, well actually a week ago but.. some people say it's gay, other people say it's hygienic, so what do you people think about it?

It's not considered hygienic, as it is used by the body to "filter" away some of the smell of sweat. Dunno if it works as nose hair as well, by filtering bacteria.
As far as I know.

You need to shower more thoroughly then. Try some soap or body gel too.
