i have;
1gb ram
1.80GHz

and i need
2gb ram
2.80GHz

to play dead space

if i upgrade my ram to 2gb will that be ok to play the game?
because 2gb ram is like £40 and upgrading the GHz is like £100+

Minimum system requirements are the minimum system requirements. Learn to trust them.
Note they are sometimes either too high or not high enough, but if you're off by that much..

With the integrated graphics that you probably have, no. Even if it would start, you'd probably get about 5FPS with settings at low.

I'd recomend a new PC... I dont think game would run, but if it does then as stated above, it'll be at an extremelY low fps...

Right, but lots of games require certain things of your hardware, and many will check to see if your hardware will run the game before it starts up. Large chance it wouldn't even run (maybe not be installed).
