Cheat Engine

So, I switched from a 15" monitor to a 17" monitor. (Giant Optics is the 15 and Samtron 77E is the new 17")

Now, everytime I bootup, in Properties tab, it stays "Default Monitor".
I can't make some FullScreen applications and game work, and I can't make a certain game with some NOXEN, (if you know what I mean) on Window mode.

Any ideas why is it like that, and how to fix it?

P.S.
My friend told me to download a driver off the manufacturer website, but I can't find it.

What Graphics Card?

Changing your monitor wouldn't make a game not work.

Most likely your graphics card does not support that resolution and the scaling down for the monitor is not supported for the monitor.

GPU says hey i cant do that resolution, down scale now!
Monitor says hey i cant do that resolution, up scale now
GPU says hey i cant do that resolution, down scale now!
Monitor says hey i cant do that resolution, up scale now
GPU says hey i cant do that resolution, down scale now!
Monitor says hey i cant do that resolution, up scale now

and so forth

go back to your original monitor or buy a new graphics card, or buy a new computer.
