Hi! (at first: my english ist not best)

Im trying to find a pointer for the game 'FlatOut Ultimate Carnage'.
When I try to find out what accesses to the address, the game closes after ~5 seconds.

I´m using Windows XP pro and CE v5.5 (default settings).


I also searched in the Forum for some help, but I think they all used older versions. And I also dont know about a protection of the game or how to find out..

first check in code finder that it's set to make use of debug registers

If that is already the case, enable "kernelmode debugger options"
Then when the game is loaded just open the process with ce (do NOT attach the debugger) and use the option "Find what accesses this address"

With some luck the game won't close out then (make sure it doesn't ask to attach the debugger)

Should i also check 'Use Global Debug routines'?

+ debug registers were enabled
+ ernelmode debugger options enabled
+ just opened the process
+ no question to attach the debugger

After some I got an error message:


I used the Speedhack to slow the game down and had enough time to find the pointer. Mr. Green

Why do I get this message?
How can I let him read the memory?

I had the same problem(game crashed when attached the debugger), Ive done what you said (changed the options over there), and when I try to read FROM an address, it asks to attach the debugger and crashes. Now what?

use find what ACCESSES the address instead of READ FROM

also, try ce 5.5, there you shouldn't be able to make that mistake

I tried out both methods and also tried to prevent detection of the debugger..
I can only use Speedhack to give me more time before the game crashes Sad Sad
