|
|
My friends and I need a proxy, so I decided to program one.
I decided to use Java for simplicity. I made a program that waits to get a connection, then outputs the data for me to analyse. I then set my proxy settings to my IP and the correct port (I also have port forwarding set). But, it doesn't connect to my program when I goto a web page....
Has anyone done this or know where I can get some tips?

I will check that out... But I want the learning experience, too. I would have thought that a browser would just connect to the port like normal...
---EDIT---
I was messing with my C++ server, then got it to work. I just had to connect to my local IP. Now I just need to decipher it, glad I have PHP experience!
