so the other day, i was listening to music, then all of a sudden, my buttons stop working, my scroller and hold button still work, but i can't press anything.

could it be a software problem or i broke the buttons? >_>

Isn't this why apple has support? Did you even call them? I'm sure they would be more help than us, plus all the iPod topics are annoying.
