Well my XP partition seems to be running really slow compared to when i first installed XP. Is there a way to system restore it back to when all the drivers are working? It is too much of a hassle to reformat and i think it might harm my Vista partition? Not really sure on that but i checked my restore points and there were only ones when i installed programs which were like only a few days old. Maybe theres a program that does this for me?

Thanks in advance

IMO, system restoring your computer to an earlier date is stupid, I don't think it's even going to work.
Just cause you're going to restore your system to an earlier date doesn't mean everything is going to go back to normal.
I would just recommend you to reformat your whole computer if your computer is running slow or you got a really harmful virus in which you can't delete it.

impossible. If you yourself did not create a restore point back when your xp was running smoothly than you cannot use restore points to 'go back' to how it originally was. Installing a fresh copy of XP with your vista dual boot shouldn't be a problem as long as you know what you're doing. If anything, simply erase old XP Part. Create a new part the exact same size as the old one, make that partition the active one before installing XP as the vista boot menu might interfere with finishing the installation.

Are there any downloadable system restores that restore my XP to a normal XP? or is it better off just reformating XP partition? like delete it then readd it

No, there isn't anykind of program that would restore your system to an earlier date.
It's better off to reformat.
