ok so my uncle lost his psp charger and i asked can i have it cuz i have a ps3 and the wires and crap r clsoe to same right so im wondering can u charge a psp with a ps3 charger if its completely dead or do i have to spend like 10 bucks on a charger

question 2 how do i find that my psp is psp 2000 or 3000 do i get the battery thing out cuz i did and it said 2001 so im like erhhh

you can't charge your psp with a ps3 power cord.

Anyway, The PS3 Controller recharger wont work.
Secondly, 2000 Is thicker than the 3000.

cant i charge it with a USB ? from the ps3 thing or just buy a USB to charge with comp?

Yes, you can charge it with a USB chord.
Also, if it says 2001 then it is from the 2000 series. If it was from the 3000 series it would say 300x (where x is an integer)...
