Good day gentlemen,

I seem to have gotten myself in to some problems that needs solving. The problem i have is that my head phones aren't working on games such as team fortress 2, Counter-Strike 1.6, Etc. But whenever I test it on either the voice tab both in game and in the steam client it works. Also I currently have a Creative HS-350. Also I am running on vista.

So it's the mic and the headphones?
do you see your outgoing transmit icon when in game?



1. Make sure Driver is updated for them (if it is a usb headset)
2. check enable voice and boost microphone gain check your key binding for mic.

only things I can think of w/o a bit more info. sounds like it has to be a setting in your games though, seeing as it works fine outside the hl/hl2 engine and in the game test menu.
