Is it worth getting? I don't really know what you can do with a chipped/modded PSP exactly. Anyone with personal experience?

Its modded. Its worth it. You can get any game you like. You need to update the firmware every half year? i depends on what games you want. If you think the battery sucks you have to live with it or get a extended FAT battery which will make your psp look retarded because one end is thinker then the other. You save alot of money. I have 4GB its fine.

4 Gig stick can hold anywhere from 2-7 games, depending on the game. You can also download GBA and NES and any other low-grade console emulater and run it on the PSP. A good site for these types of things is pspiso.com

Check out applications and see what you can do.

Ok before you waste $500, let me type up a guide. Ill edit this post, but dont get it. Yet.

If you haven't been involved in the homebrew scene, you probably don't know that all PSPs, NOW 3000 version can be modded. Go buy a PSP 3000, a 4gig to 16gig mem stick, and then go to qj.net. They have all the news and info. Let me compile a guide for you. Hold on.

Ok read everything here and report back: http://pspupdates.qj.net/GEN-A-has-landed-CFW-5-03GEN-A-for-HEN-now-available-/pg/49/aid/131965

I see, i believe the 3000 version is the latest slim version with an improved screen?

What is the differences with modding, and chipping an PSP? I do know that chipping requires opening the PSP. But will a chipped PSP have more features than a modded one? What are the real differences.

To my knowledge chipping has no significant improvements to modding, as it is technically the same thing.
