I have a project due monday and I get bonus marks for making a website
So Im wondering if there are easy sites that will let you host it for free and give you the tools to make it like templates etc
I dont need a domain or anything
just something simple I can show the teacher that i did make a webpage

You can download free templates from http://www.freewebtemplates.com/
Edit it to your needs...
You can keep it on a USB and run the Index.html using Firefox/IE at school or you can sign up for a free host such as 000WebHost/T35/Byethost

Just Sign up to ByetHost or Webs...
ByetHost is probably the best...
Webs is very common... But I still refer byetHost

Because, you need your computer on 24/7
Uses up Upload, sometimes Download usage depending on your website.
Need to portforward sometimes which can get a lil bitchy sometimes.
Need to sign up to DynDNS sometimes...
Just sign up to Byethost, 1 email activation, upload your html files etc and ur done...
No need to set anything up on your computer...

Sorry forgot about that, I don't re-read ever single post from the beginning every time I want to post a reply...
If you want to:
1. Host on your PC then.
1. Download and Install either XAMPP, WAMP, Apache
2. Create website.
3. Move website to www folder or what ever folder it is.
4. use a computer in another network, such as a school computer and type in EXTERNALIP/index.html
5. If it doesn't work then port forward...
2. Host on a Free Server then.
1. http://byethost.com/free-hosting/news
2. Upload index.html files.
3. Go to www.domainname.byethost35.com at school, or what ever the website is (Sorry forgot).
Also beaware if your school systems are secure like Australia's Depertment of Education filtering, your website will be blocked until it is categorized which most likely take a year lol...
If I were you I'd do 1 of these in order.
1. Use a USB
2. Use Byethost
3. Use WAMP and host on your own computer.

I think I will go with webs.com
I dont really want to upload index.html files, i just need to create it from the website
nor do i want to host anything from my computer
just a simple thing to show the teacher that yea i made a website that has is atleast working
like cut and paste, etc
also do i need to put my webs.com website on a usb?
Or can i access it from a school computer?
and pineapple, i need a website not a blog type of thing
