I just changed my keyboard type to Dvorak, which is supposedly a faster way to type. I'm trying to get used to it, but I think it'll take a while to get un-used to 10 years of QWERTY. Title is the first clause typed normally, but with keyboard set up like Dvorak.

It's practically useless for me.
Not only would I have to re-learn it, but my mom would throw a freakin' fit when she tried to type an email.
Also, if I try to get a job that requires typing, I'm screwed. Very Happy

Guys when you do this, it isn't irreversible. The language bar shows up in your taskbar, with an added keyboard icon. You click that, and a drop-down menu shows up to select either English (United States) or United States (Dvorak). All you have to do is switch between the two. What you think I've been writing all of these past posts in Dvorak? Fuck no, I'm really slow at it.

It's only 'faster' because all the vowels are right next to eachother.
