| I went on one of the most depressing killing sprees ever, everybody in megaton is dead, and all I got for it was about 1400 caps and 2 orphaned children. I should have just blown the whole place up like that burke asshole suggested. |

Yes the view from Tenpenny's tower of Megaton exploding is quite epic. No matter how I want my character to be in the end, I always save than blow the hell out of Megaton. |

Before I reformated, in Fallout3 I got up to the part basically where his father dies and you go to the brotherhoods base.
How far in was I? |

| You can go back to the vault, just listen for the Vault 101 Com. System at the entrance to gain access. |

Depends on how you play. If you were just doing the main quest, I'd say about another hour or so. If you're like me, and you like going around killing everything that moves, then I'd say another 50+ hours |
