Okay I recently built a new computer.
Everything is connected correctly. But the thing is whenever I try to load into the OS, it has that screen that says Choose how to boot windows:
Last configurations that worked or w/e.
So whenever I try getting past that, my computer restarts. So I think that the OS is corrupted. So I put in the installation CD, and set the BIOS to load from the CD. I removed the HDD from the boot list. So it keeps on giving me the boot error.
I know the CD Drive is plugged in right because it shows up in my BIOS.
What could possibly be wrong?
The CD works on my brothers computer.

I'm guessing your OS is already installed, right?
Well perhaps your partition is corrupted.
Last time I used partition magic to try partition my 2 HDDs (raid0 config), it did the same thing and I was stupid enough not to make a rescue CD.

So, you installed your OS and it just came to this point where it doesn't boot?
Have you done anything that you think have might've caused this such as managing your partitions, etc?
If not, I don't really think there's much you really can do at this point except:
1. Pop in the setup CD and do a repair installation which will reinstall all the windows files but remain your personal files untouched.
2. Try make a new boot.ini via recovery console ( Not too sure about this)
3. Reformat
