I'm a little fuzzy on processor ghz.
When it says Intel Core 2 duo mobile processor T9550, 2.66ghz, does that mean the ghz are actually 5.32 ghz since there's two processors?
Also, would these (laptop) specs accomodate games such as Left4Dead/Cod4/Crysis?

No. Perhaps in efficient, dual-threaded applications, you could see that "double" speed boost, but in all other single-threaded applications, the speed will not increase by much. If you're running a bunch of applications at once, then yes, it will probably be noticeably faster than with one core disabled.
It won't be much faster when burning through a single-threaded application, although when running multiple applications or a dual-threaded application, the performance should be better.
It would be able to play those games, medium settings at 1280x720 with L4D and CoD4, low/medium at lower resolutions with Crysis.
