I'm applying for a job working at a mall kiosk, and if I do well at the interview, I need to make sure they keep me. The pay is better than minimum wage, so it's a great job. Srs thrd. Anyone know any helpful tips towards selling items?

You have to be persuasive.

First step is tone of voice.
It has to be loud and proud.

Social is key, also know the product like it was your own son. By knowing the product you can lie to the costumers that you have the same product at home and you love it. And that you have already recommend it to your closest friends and family. Lie to unlock.

don't annoy the fucking shit out of people. And target small children, they always drag their parents to the kiosk and the parents can never say no to their young child.

It depends on what you're selling. The more popular and widespread the genre of item, or the item itself, the easier it'll be to sell. You just need to know most of the information regarding the item, and prepare it in a short yet thorough explanation, while showing the potential customers how it works and listing off some things it'd be good for.
