It's human nature. We need addictions to form a constant in our life where we seemingly control the uncontrollable. Nine out of ten times when someone stops with a certain addiction, they replace it with another.
Albeit that the amount of addictions are relative to each individual.

the only addiction humans are meant to have is sex.
thats all thats natural.
everything else is not natural. 
if you have an addiction it means you are either mentally or physically dependant on a substance/thing to live a "normal" life. Just so you know, that isn't normal.
A normal human lives perfectly fine if they dont have an addiction.
If a human has an addiction, they will find that it is disrupting certain parts of their lives.
by definition, all addictions are abnormal.
Why did i say sex is the only addiction we should have if all addictions are abnormal?
Because sex is good for your health and your body really does need it to live a psychologically/physiologically healthy life.

That isn't a lot. I drink a whole half-gallon of milk a day.
