If you meant internet piracy, then its not heavily enforced.
Every once in a blue moon you will find some retard who sold a pirated movie/program to a cop or FBI agent who actually took the time to report the case....
but its a losing battle on the side of the law, so it really isnt enforced.
as for sea piracy, yes thats illegal o.o
IMO, its a form of terrorism.
