I believe it can come from a fake update or window from just browsing a website more popular like "facebook".

I highly doubt this is real. I bet you one article or maybe did it as a joke to scare others on April Fools, and other writers were all like "OMG NO WAI! I WANT IN 2!"

Anyway, considering every article I read on the so-called "dead" Conflicker virus had little to no background information. It's like a terroist calling the government, saying "You'll all be dead by April Fool's day" and the media going "OMG THEY'LL ALL DIE! CALL TEH SECRAT SERVICE TO PROTACT THEM!"
