Need help playing Half-Life 1

Hello, I just download Half-Life 1 with the Team Fortress Classic, Ricochet and Deathmatch Classic mods. I install it on the computer I currently am and everything runs fine. When I go to new game it starts loading and then I get the error "Unable to load the authentication library, Exiting...", so I tried it in another computer and everything is working fine. I think I may be lacking some files...
Any help?

1. I hope you mean you downloaded it from STEAM and you're actually trying to run it from there...

2. Try running it in a window

Running in window doesn't work... And no I did not download it from STEAM.
