i want to but new video card but i know know my my PC would support it... help?

Check to see what type of slot you have. PCI-E or PCI.

Or AGP on mostly P4-era boards.

The current power supply you're using may or may not be able to provide enough energy to the power supply. Generally, for high-end cards (GT200, R770), a combined output of ~432W on the +12v rail (36A effective) should provide more than enough power. For mid-end cards (G92/G94 die shrink, low-end R770/R770 LE, R710-R740, R670), a combined output of ~336W on the +12v rail (28A effective) should support the cards. I'm pretty sure you could get away with ~240W (20A), although I recommend avoiding that little power running to the cards (and other components running on the +12v). These aren't static requirements, power draw varies card-to-card. They're usually posted somewhere.

Read your motherboard manual.
It tells you the hardware specifications, including a graphic card.
