That will force a reboot of the ipod, but I donno if that would fix the problem.
I have the same ipod (its in the car and I don't feel like getting up right now). Do you have it setup as a data storage device? Can you right click it and try to re-format it through your computer?

| Thats the thing, I've never had a problem with my ipod so I don't know if that would even be an option.

I believe you can Format it from your PC, otherwise, take it to apple/buy a new one. I'm not very good with I Pods.

This isnt much of a big deal. ALL ipods do this with ipodwizard. Just port it in a different USB.
I have the best ipod ever btw. Wizzed firmware, ipodlinux, rockbox, ipl loader, iboy, idarcnes, igamegear, and alot, HELLOFALOT more. So, if this does not work for you, i guess i can find a better solution. BUT if this isnt what you were asking, and a white screen pops up saying that you fucked up, keep trying to force itunes to detect the ipod, and then completely reformat it.

First things first, Classic's firmware hasn't been cracked, so you can't mod it in any way..
second:: Search for diskmode on the internet with your model and try that, that will force iTunes to recognize the iPod.
never EVER try to mod you iPod Classic with iPodWizard again![/b]
http://www.ipodwizard.net/wiki/index.php/Main_Page look through their homepage if you don't believe me
