well i just installed SP3 (special pack 3) onto my XP comp can i uninstall SP2 since i hav no need for it? and can u tell me how?

my comp is old and its taking up like 2 gigs on my C drive so i wanna remove it how can i do that?

I'm not a 100% sure but doesn't SP3 overwrite SP2 Files?

There is a command you need to type so Windows will clear out the SP3 junk files.

When that is done, SP3 will stay permanent and uninstalling will not be available.

Can't seem to find it for XP, but Vista is "vSp1cln.exe".
You can try looking at the SP3 command switches or check MS's
SP3 preinstall .chm documentation kit.
