Tried letting the battery run dry?
Or updating to the latest Firmware?
Or resetting it?
You can also download iPodWizard and open up the updater that comes with it and restoring it to factory settings. "Deletes everything".

Did you spray the windex directly on the wheel? If you did you shouldn't have. Spray it on the paper towel w/e first and make sure it's barely wet.

If it's under warranty, send it in.
