If you read my blog, you'd know it's similar to 3DSMax or 3D Maya's 'bumpmapping' technique ;-P

there is a thing called DreamScape (( its like the best plugin for terrains en 3Dmax ))
it works with a bump map thing too xP I made my diglet with that thing

there is a thing called DreamScape (( its like the best plugin for terrains en 3Dmax ))
it works with a bump map thing too xP I made my diglet with that thing |
It's not "easy as shit" at all.. but it's not hard either. It's Matrice mathematics with general C# XNA knowledge.

No, you calculate each triangle. It doesn't involve placing vertices though like you said at first.
