So im trying to get bullets for a game called WWIIonline. It's a MMOFPS but it has an offline version too, which is the one im trying to hack. Firstly i did a search and found a location where the number of bullets is held, however changing this value doesnt effect the amount of bullets you have in the game. So i found out what "writes to this address" and go these results...

Now what i did was do a hex search for the ecx value which was 00F904AC and got these results...

Then i added 1A8667B4 with the hex offset of C as a pointer and it pointed to my bullet location... Then i tried to find out what writes to the pointer i just made and got no results, so then i tried to find what reads from the point and got no results, so then i tried what accesses this pointer, i got no results(i was using memory access expections) and this happened to the pointer...

It went all ???? im guessing because the pointer changed or something?
But the thing is nothing touches this pointer... so im sort of lost as to how i can find the real address of the bullets value.
This is what the code looks like around the pointer (the actual code is highlighted) i cant really see anything around it that would help me though... members[dot]swiftdsl[dot]com[dot]au/~xavior/untitled4.jpg
