Hey guys theres a anti-rootkit program called unhackme. Basically it works somewhat like a viruse scanner to find rootkits, although it is much much lighter on the memory. I've been debating whether or not to install this software (because i have had troubles with rootkits before). But i read the reviews and there are very mixed, some of which are 10/10 totally fantistic while others are -1/10 terrible. Help/suggestions? btw don't factor in the 20 dollar fee to get the software, i have access to a cracked version.

1) an able, cautious computer user will not be infected with rootkit. usually, PEBKAC.
2) if your current AV can already remove rootkits, there is no real use to bother with another program.
3) if in any case you want to "try things out anyway", a free alternative is available. http://www.sophos.com/products/free-tools/sophos-anti-rootkit.html

I'm leaning towards a "no", but SF is the kind of person who prefers me not to make smartass decisions for others, so please make this decision yourself.
