I used this code to mute my speakers:
Code:
waveOutSetVolume(0, 0);

Then to restore it, I used:
Code:
waveOutSetVolume(0, 0xFFFF);

Only one of my two speakers is restored. How can I find the other speaker and restore its volume?

The second parameter is a dword, 0xFFFFFFFF will set both channels.

dwVolume

New volume setting. The low-order word contains the left-channel volume setting, and the high-order word contains the right-channel setting. A value of 0xFFFF represents full volume, and a value of 0x0000 is silence.

when in doubt, MSDN.
