I reformatted my computer and I can't find out what type of sound drivers it uses.

I looked all over the options and didn't find the information I wanted.

How do I find out what company made my sound card?

If you don't have an integrated one, then you could open up your computer
and take a look inside. See if the sound card has a logo on it.

Otherwise you could try this program: Belarc
It will profile your computer for you reference.

If it's onboard, go to the manufacturer of the computer or motherboard to find out.

I've sorted out a few PC's for mates and such, a lot of people have Onboard sound processing.
For generic Onboard drivers there's one called AC97 Audio
You can click it from my post for an automatic google search for drivers.

If you have a Sound Card on the other hand you'd have to find out the manufacturer and then go search for drivers via google.

At the end of the day, If you're not a fucking idiot then google is your best friend.
