In the settings\Extra menu, when you enable Stealth Kernel mode, there is a little More button the comes up.

When I clicked that, it was a menu that said, prevent modules from being loaded. So I thought, mmm this might make it so a particular .dll cannot be loaded by any process (if I selected Global)

So I thought, that in CombatArms, if I make it so that the HackShield .dll is not loaded, the anticheat will be bypassed. But I guess not. I typed in ehsvc.dll, checked Globally, then hit ok, and it BRICKED my pc. I could not open anything, and all programs stopped working...

I had to reboot twice, and use the kernel module unloader and Reset Settings so it would not lock up my system when I started cheatengine.

So what exactly was that supposed to do? Thanks.

It will block that dll from being loaded, but it shouldn't block anything until the hackshield is loaded.

Perhaps you had the option picked to prevent all modules from being loaded EXCEPT hackshield.dll (that will make it so you can't run anything if the list is too small)

Also, if hackshield uses a driver that hooks a certain api, and relies on hackshield.dll to guide everything into the right direction, then that can cause some random stuff as well.

Oh... Yeah I must have done that then. I tested just now and it works fine

Too bad the game has a check that finds out of that .dll is loaded or not. It doesn't look that hard to bypass xD Thanks for everything
