I tried to jailbreak my iPod touch (8 gig 2nd gen) and when it was in DFU mode I think something went wrong...
It won't turn on now, doesn't display anything. My computer can't recognize it so it can't restore it.
Also it won't install the driver that I select. Need help!
Edit: Already re-installed iTunes.

The ibss...?
I just want to restore it.
Can't be stuffed until an official jailbreak is out.
How do I get it into DFU mode if it doesn't show anything on the screen?

If the computer doesnt notice it, then that means something
malfunctioned. I would suggest calling Apple and explain to them what
happened... and they might help you.

He can't called Apple because he voided his warranty trying to jailbreak it.

Try looking for ZiPhone and using the advanced features to put your iPod back into DFU or Recovery mode.

try plugging it in and rebooting. If the pc does notice it, it should do a disk check and fix what it can.

Thanks for the suggestions.
I'm so happy right now.
I just did the (hold both buttons for ten seconds, then release the power blah blah) and iTunes recognized it. Strange because I tried this lots of times before. Either way WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
*ahem*.
I also have a weird suspicion that I had to reboot the computer a few times for some reason, because Illustrator kept crashing for no reason. =\
Anyway. Requesting lock.
