When i was shutting my Windows XP computer , a wierd problem happened ,
It frozed at when its shutting down.
Is this a virus ?

it froze, or keeps freezing?

If you can't shut it down normally, shut off the power supply. Scan your computer with an antivirus if you want to know whether or not it is a virus.
Also, I have occasionally had this problem many times before, it is not a virus.

The "shutting down" message on XP is really vague. Actually during shutdown XP does a lot more. There is a registry you must edit to let XP show you the full details of exactly what its doing.
That may help you pinpoint the cause of it.
or you can force end auto task which is also in the registry.
