Switch the PSU to one from a more reputable brand.
Switch the HDD to a Western Digital. Though this is more of a brand preference, Seagates tend to be unreliable.
Other than that it looks fine. |

You don't need the 600W, so you could go for a Corsair or PC Power & Cooling of lower wattage (and higher quality). I think PC Power & Cooling has 400-430Ws around the $70 region.
That'll shave off a good $10, I would replace the Arctic Cooler Freezer 7 with this Big Typhoon.
I see you replaced the E7400 with an E8400, I was going to list that as an upgrade if you wanted to make the fullest of your budget.
The mobo is good, no complaints about the other components. |

Your build is pretty solid, but you might want to check out this RAM. Similar performing with a just-as-reliable company for a good ~$15 less if you count rebates. _________________

With an E8400 and a Thermaltake Big Typhoon?
I'm under 30C @ 4.05GHz. Just learn about voltages and overclocking is quite simple.

that ram is really good (i have it), its not bad ram, only its cheap
also, i suggest you check out the newegg fan section and buy 1-2 extra case fans, because your computer (the radeon 4850 has heat problems, and especially if you overclock) may get hot. get a 80mm and you should be ok
the e8400 goes to about 4.0Ghz on air with decent air cooling. if you want 4.2+ then buy a cpu cooler. the 19$ one ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 64 Pro 92mm CPU Cooler - Retail (i cant link sorry) seems to be good _________________

This tutorial covers all the bases. When you get to the temperatures part, the E8400 has a tjmax of 95C (it'll make more sense when you read through that part). |

The CPU cooler sucks. High price != high performance. Get this. Also, it may be a good idea to get some aftermarket thermal compound, as the stock stuff is usually shit.
Aside from that, everything looks good. _________________

The $45 Big Typhoon allowed him to stay in his original budget. The Noctua is better, but the "dark knight" is the same as the $35 s1283, less the aesthetics. It's also louder than the Big Typhoon... |
