Well, I was wondering how to save a swf file from the current swf in the AxShockwaveFlash using a SaveFileDialog.
Also, any good tutorial on making a var scanner? I've searched forever.

The question for a var scanner is realy retarded.
There is no function to find all the variables in a flash games.
To save a file, use google, you need the microsoft internet control the execute function of it and then load the swf file in a array of bytes
simply write the array to file named however you want

My question about the var scanner wasn't how to find ALL variables. It was just a simple one like others. However, the var scanner isn't so important.
Anyways.....
I get the Internet Control part but I cannot find a sutative one for Windows XP Professional. However, I don't get a thing what you mean about the Array thingy. I'm not a professional really lol.

A very simple way of saving the swf file(swf file gets buldged up if you open it with flash player though):
make a webbrowser object in the form, make it invisible, execute this code for save:
| Code: | WebBrowser1.Navigate(AxShockWaveFlash)
WebBrowser1.ExecWB OLECMDID_SAVEAS, OLECMDEXECOPT_DODEFAULT 'Saves the webpage(.swf)
|
To get ALL the variables with vb which needs to get every command/output the flash does, this is what the program vb6/flash player do for you, it is quite complicate to know, for flash var scanner, it is quite an easy code for the output which makes it easy and simple/popular to make.

| Code: | Name 'AxShockWaveFlash' is not declared.
'ExecWB' is not a member of 'System.Windows.Forms.WebBrowser'.
Name 'OLECMDID_SAVEAS' is not declared.
Name 'OLECMDEXECOPT_DODEFAULT' is not declared. |
Those are the errors I get. I believe I don't get the point. -_-

| Code: |
If SaveFileDialog1.ShowDialog = Windows.Forms.DialogResult.OK Then
My . Computer . Network . DownloadFile(AxShockwaveFlash1.Movie, SaveFileDialog1.FileName)
EndIf |
Remove spaces, keeps saying I can't post URLs
Put a .swf filter on the dialog also.
