When my vista boots, it always asks to run either as vista or an earlier version of windows... I chose earlier windows, since my hacks won't run on vista. Anyways, it made my computer infinitely restart after the 2nd screen, is there any way I can change it to start as vista isntead? I tried reformatting, but it's no use, I do reformat my computer, but it continues to restart.
Edit: Oh god, now when I turn my computer on, it turns off in 3 seconds.

it sounds like your hardware is screwed...maybe a loose connection or something? no virus could fuck you over that badly.(i think) Maybe it's overheated but then it would work at all (I think). Try booting from a linux live-cd?
