My friend said he tried to join the side yesterday, (About 18 hours ago) but his account still hasn't been activated.

Is there anything he can do to speed it up?

He can go onto the IRC and ask one of the mods to activate it for him.

Easy to set up and get in.
Chatzilla plugin for Firefox.
Opera has a built in IRC client.
Or XChat/mIRC.

Its easy. Would take less than 5 minutes to set stuff up.

Also, make sure you and him are not the same person... because if you are, they will not activate the account.
