is there any way I can protect my computer from the widespread
computer bug that infected 9 million computers?
This is no the front page of Yahoo.
I have Vista and I plug in my flashdrive alot just like it says, but I dont
undrestand what they're saying.

It could only get onto a flash drive if your system were to be infected. (Had no idea what you were talking about until I went to the CA Yahoo.)
If you're worried about malware, don't download and/or install fishy programs and get yourself a good antivirus. Malware scans are also beneficial.
