Alrighty...Follow this link http://blog.shankarganesh.com/2007/07/29/3-windows-vista-themes-for-windows-xp/ and read the instructions. I'd recommend using AeroGlass, it is probably one of the better Vista themes for XP. Just keep in mind that by applying these themes, your computer performance will worsen so yeah...

It uses some extra system resources, but that's not too much of a problem for moderately-modern systems these days. However, if your computer's ten years old....

Bought it like, 4 years ago, upgraded to 1.7GB Ram.
Processer; 2.8GHZ.
GraphicsCard; 3D- Accelerator [OnBoard.]
I know it`s a peice of shit, but gets the job done, and better then most computers I know in Jersey. |
That should probably be fine. And HAY. My computer's in Jersey.

BricoPack 2 and VTP 9 are both resource hogs, as far as I know, but VTP doesn't use as much, last time I checked. I'm pretty sure you can find a few good skins on DeviantArt, that should work just as well, minus a few RAM-hungry apps attached to VTP and BricoPack. But I suppose you can choose which apps to install in both Vista theme packs.
IMO, Vista themes aren't worth the trouble, something always seemed to go wrong with me when I was running XP a few months ago. I ended up uninstalling them, and even then I had to manually remove traces like icons. If you can get them working, then good for you.
