Cheat Engine

Basically, I have a virus. It disables two of my dll's that let me run ie7 or firefox. I can give them to you if needed..(too lazy to check)..a fix to it? is it really a virus? all I do is go to the run command in start..and I execute my dll's. buuut...after 5-10mins, I get a pop-up. Then, it goes all downhill and then I can't browse the internet. Any help is appreciated.

I'm not very good with computers. explain more please. give me a second, i'll get the dll's that keep shutting down..


edit: regsvr32 actxprxy.dll aaand.. regsvr32 shdocvw.dll =)

Does an error message come up when they shut down? When do they shut down, at random, or when you open a certain program?

When i'm browsing ie7, about 5-10minutes later a pop-up comes up. My pop-up blocker doesn't work against it...After it pops-up, it stops working. Any suggestions? I have to go to bed though~ Thanks in advance if you can help.

Well, of course your pop-up blocker wouldn't block it if it were a .dll stopping; pop up blockers stop websites from opening up unwanted windows. This is caused by the OS.

Did you recently install IE7? If you can, reinstall it, or start using Firefox primarily.(Reinstall FF also.) Firefox is safer than IE and has quite a few more features.

use Those 5 minutes to download firefox. If you can't, use FTP or ask someone to use some kind of Client(xfire)
