Well I have a 20 inch benq lcd and for a long time i've been wondering how to make the movie or video FULL SCREEN
Like i play it in windows media player but its not full screen even when i go to fullscreen option
anyone know how?

EDIT: oh you want to make it so that your whole screen is full? i don't think you can with wmp, it won't allow you to chop off...

That'll either fuck up the aspect ratio or cut off large parts of the video. If you want to watch a widescreen movie or clip, I recommend you don't make it take up the whole screen, it'll look like crap.
However, I don't think that the option even exists in WMP, you'd have to use MPC or VLC media player (both are much better anyway).

What's the resolution on your monitor? If you want to be able to see the full thing, AND you want to not have it look stretched vertically (massively), you're stuck with the black bars, it's not a huge deal.
How do you expect a say, 16:9 widescreen video to fill up a 4:3 screen?

Probably 1680x1050..?
It doesn't even matter. The point is, cut off too much of a video or stretch it out badly, it's no more enjoyable to watch than with the original aspect ratio at a smaller size.

The type of encoding doesn't matter. It's the aspect ratio. You can't play a 4:3 video (so that it looks good) without vertical black areas on the sides. You can't increase the quality of a video (or its wideness, without messing up the aspect ratio) through re-encoding.
