I just started my ASM learning. I just want to ask where should i start? I am lost some where. I saw ax,bx,cx,dx in ASM but why in CE is EAX,EBX,ECX? Can anyone tell me what is that.
I am truly wanted to learn. thanks

ax,bx,cx,dx are 16 bit registers
EAX,EBX,ECX are 32 bit registers
the E is just added to the front of the 16 bit registers to denote them as 32 bit like E means extended,
when your googling for ASM look for X86 asm so you find 32 bit explanations that windows uses, unless your using windows 95 which I doubt,

| umm are u learning the language ASM? cause if u are completely new, don't it'll fuck u up for the rest of ur life if u learn some ASM, quit adn try to learn something else, but u aren't a newbie to programiing, then learnign ASM is good, its one of the most powerful laugages out there, i never learnt asm b4, but just find some e-books on it
