Stop making post about weight lifting stunning growth.

If you are weight training and do the excersizes wrong and lift wrong you can stop growth but only if done wrong. If your so worried about it don't weight train or simply ask an instructor on how to do an exercise or a specific lift.

For heavy lifters this is not recommended if your scared of growth being stunned. Heavy lifting can jam those special weak spots on your bone that are growing and cause pain and it will stop the growth.

If you want to weight train by all means go a head no one is stoping you. Weight training it not just for older people it can be for anyone of any age and size no matter what sex you are. If you weight train responcibly and get advice on proper weight training then you should be fine other then that. Don't worry and don't bring up topics like these...

Thanks =]

also, running puts more weight onto your skeletal frame when your feet land on the ground than when you lift weights.

Well running can be bad but when you feel pain in your knee area when running you will know your growing and to instantly stop putting pressure on those spots.

No one should be concerned about this... Weight training is like a sport when you've hit your limit what do you do??? You sit out and re-collect your self and etc... Same with weight trainning but you call it a day. =]
