| Depends what type of bot. I'm gonna say SCAR (Pascal) or Autoit. Just google really easy to find. Recommending Autoit more though. It has a great help file that teaches you almost everything. Good luck.

| What kind of bot? If it's a bot to do things automatically without being clicked on try what WWOH said, if it is an auto-clicker use ghost mouse, or try WPE Pro, it can come handy.

| WPE pro isn't used for making bots, completely unrelated but it could come in handy. Also as Lolocaust said try using https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3863. I think it's only preset things and will just repeat rather than varying.

Yes mate wpe can be used to make bots, but it is allot more then just using wpe.
If you know how to really program you can write a bot that sends all the packets for certain actions of the game.
Not as easy to do as it sounds.

If we are going to say that, you can make a bot in any language.
But if you have no programming knowledge, your best bet is to get Autoit & scITE and open up scITE Help file and start from the beginning and read.
Trust me, you will learn how to write things with this scripting language fairly quick.
Also, it will give you knowledge of how to use a programming language. You will get knowledge of a basic structure which can be applied to any language you want to try and learn on the side.

I thought I would just put a little list of programming languages and their most common uses; pleased correct me if I am wrong. These are the most commonly used programming languages for some botting categories. This is just my own opinion really.
Website: VB,C++,Delphi,C,C#/.Net,Autoit
Game: C++,VB,Delphi,C,C#/.Net,Autoit
Flash: VB,C/C++,Delphi,C#/.Net,Autoit
Java: Java,Notepad,Autoit
And the list can go on, Updated:12-27-08

Autoit is not java. It's made in c++ and has basic syntax.

Woah well there's something I didn't know.
Anyway aside from learning a whole complex language such as c++, go with Autoit and scITE. Probably a lot simpler.
Then again if you have the time, c++ or one of the other things iNext said would be a lot more useful overall.

I think it was meant to say most common used to make bots for those examples, since the thread is about what language you use to make bots.
But yes you are correct since Av3 it was rewritten in C++.
But syntax being basic doesn't mean it can't do anything or it is crap.
It is very user friendly of course, but you can do more with this scripting language then most others I have seen with the exception of AutoHotKey which was designed from AutoitV2 open source. Then build from that to become a popular scripting language. It still uses some of the functions as well.
