Well I get this error whenever I try to install Oblivion. Any ideas?

Try run it with Administrator mode.
Vista: Right Click installer and click Run as Administrator
XP: I think right click properties, look through tabs and click run as administrator

If it is downloaded then re extract the ISO/Zip/Rar....
It might just be a corrupt extract....

The cyclic redunancy check error you get just basically means that the file is corrupted, or the location to where you want to burn it is.

Use this to check whether the CRC check failed is in the place where you're copying the file to, or your hard-drive.

Open cmd.

C:\>CD (to wherever the file is located)

C:\wherever>copy Outlook.pst NUL
1 file(s) copied. (Success)

If this succeeds the problem is not actually with the file itself, but the location you were trying to copy it to. (Just copy it somewhere else)

If it doesn't, then just get another copy of the program in concern.

Disreguard the nexon folder. Its the first one i saw and theres nothing in there lol. Oh i tried ur thing and I think i did somthign wrong T_T

Ok, just create a shortcut of cmd to desktop.

Right click -> properties
There should be some option on the first tab you get (can't remember) that will say something like "%HOMEDRIVE%%HOMEPATH%".

Change it to D:\Oblivion.
Just type "copy Outlook.pst NUL" and yeah.

Zzz, ok, just nevermind about that - it was supposed to be a quick check to see what the problem was.

Anyway, just get a brand new cd/dvd and recopy the file to it. Make sure the file works first before burning.
Then just extract it to somewhere other than the default directory.

but when i try to copy the fileanywhere i get the same error so how am i supposed to copy it. And the friends who has supplied me with the copy of Oblivion is currently in Masedonia (i liv in australia)

Then the file is corrupted.

Sorry to say but the only way to get it to work is to download it.
