for christmas, i got a SanDisk sdhc card(8gb). but when ever i insert it, i cant boot my computer, and i cant access it to put files on it. i get an I/O error. what does this mean, and do i have to get a new one?

Try another SD card to see if it works.
If no, then it's your reader. Either it's not good or it does not support
SDHC capacity cards.

If yes, then then it's the card itself, get a replacement.

i tried other sd card... do i have to get a 'speacial' kind of reader or anything past about 2002
