How do I cheat?

Hello, I have an error when I try to tick .CT (Standard Cheat Table) under the File Associations tab in the settings that says:

Failed to set data for 'preCE'

I am using Windows XP and the error only occurs in a limited account, it works perfectly fine in an Admin account.

And yes I used the search button, found 1 but not much of a help.

Can someone give me a solution to this problem? My dad doesn't allow me to use Admin that, often or word for safety reasons.

P.S. Sorry if this is on the wrong section, I don't know where else to post this.

As you guessed, it has to do with not being on an admin account.
To add new file associations, you need to be an administrator, as it add an entry to a admin only registry section

Why not log into the administrator, add the association, then use it on whatever accounts you use it on.

install and run once on a administrator account or run as administrator...
don't use CE at school... the school network admins always are stupid and what will they think? XD
believe me.. nothing that's good 4 your school acc...
