I got involved in this big web of lies some douche has about cracking passwords on our school server, anyways he got his hands on it through a password cracker on a live CD. But when he got caught he said it was all me when I just used the password to play computer games. Is what he did against the law? If I'm somehow found guilty of what he did am I expelled?

It depends on your school, really. I got suspended last year for the same thing, got caught again this year, suspended for a month. Got caught again last week, and now I'm suspended until next year. It IS against the law, but it depends if your principle wants to press charges.
It doesn't matter WHAT you did with the passwords, it's that you had the passwords, and used them.

I guess so, but is there some way you guys know of to prove it was actually the other guy that used the 3rd party programs to access the administrator information?
EDIT: All the informations out in the open, saying the guy was logged in before isn't gonna work.
