When i move my Compaq Presario F700 screen, my screen goes black or flickers. Now im using my laptop in an awkward angle....this is getting annoying
So is there something loose?
Also my screen is wobbly, i tightened my screws and it didnt work..
Where is the VGA cable in my laptop?

Edit : Nvm, when you posted you never said it was a laptop, Open up where the speaker compartment is, Remove the keyboard carefully, there's 3 cables in there, 1of them goes to your screen find out which one, If you don't know how to open your laptop up, take it to someone who does.

I accidently removed a piece of Kapton polyimide film or kapton tape and it wont stick back on...Is tat what caused this?

Most likely, and I think about the only thing you can do is try to put a piece of tape on the backside so it will be thick enough to fit into the connector firmly. Otherwise, you'll probably need to find a new screen for that model off of eBay.

Is everything else back the way it was, did everything work fine before?

There was a slight problem when i never evened opened my laptop..
When i move the screen far back, my screen goes black
The tape isnt sticky anymore...
Are there any other types of tape that wont melt?

| Electrical tape has a pretty high melting point, that should work.

will the residue from the electrical black tape be any cause?
